Birmingham Phoenix’s collapse to 75 all out against Manchester Originals in 2022 remains the lowest total in men’s Hundred history, three years and two rebrands on.
This list ranks the ten lowest completed innings in the competition since its 2021 launch, drawing on results through the 2025 season.
Top 10 Lowest Totals in The Hundred Men’s Competition
The Hundred has witnessed several high-scoring thrillers since its launch, but not every batting line-up has lived up to expectations. Pressure, disciplined bowling, and difficult conditions have produced some remarkably low totals over the years.

Each of the following matches tells a different story, offering a closer look at how these record-low scores unfolded and shaped the outcome of the contest.
1. Birmingham Phoenix: 75 all out
Phoenix set the benchmark for the wrong reasons, collapsing to 75 all out in front of a 20,836 crowd at Edgbaston after Manchester Originals posted 154 for 6, built on Phil Salt’s 56.

Tom Hartley took 4 for 22 as Phoenix, missing injured top-scorer Liam Livingstone, lost their last five wickets for 12 runs. It remains the lowest total across both men’s and women’s Hundred history.
2. London Spirit: 80 all out
Justin Langer’s side never recovered from losing Keaton Jennings, Kane Williamson and David Warner with the score on 26 in the 2025 season opener at Lord’s.

Rashid Khan took 3 for 11 on his Invincibles debut, with Sam Curran adding 3 for 16, as Spirit limped to 80 from 94 balls before Oval Invincibles cruised home by six wickets to begin their title defence.
3. Northern Superchargers: 83 all out
Ben Stokes’ first ball back for Superchargers was also his last, bowled by Tim Southee without facing a delivery himself, and the innings never recovered.

Birmingham Phoenix’s Kiwi pace pair reduced the visitors to 83, then chased down 84 in just 39 balls, the fastest successful chase and the first ever 10-wicket win in men’s Hundred history, winning with 61 balls to spare.
4. Northern Superchargers: 83 all out
A year earlier, Superchargers had already suffered an identical total, bowled out for 83 by Manchester Originals at Old Trafford after Jos Buttler’s 75 had set up a target of 165.

Calvin Harrison produced the best bowling figures in men’s Hundred history, 5 for 11, to seal the win and confirm Superchargers as the only side with two entries on this list.
5. Manchester Originals: 86 for 8
Without injured captain Jos Buttler, Originals slumped to 4 for 3 and then 37 for 7 against Welsh Fire’s left-arm pace trio of David Willey, David Payne and Josh Little, who shared 6 for 46.

Jamie Overton and Scott Currie added a stand of 36 to spare further embarrassment, but Fire chased 87 in just 57 balls to win by eight wickets at Old Trafford.
6. Welsh Fire: 87 all out
Jonny Bairstow’s much-anticipated return to the Fire side coincided with one of the competition’s most one-sided results.

George Garton took 3 for 8 to earn Player of the Match as Southern Brave bowled Fire out for 87 in Cardiff, then knocked off the target inside 59 balls for a nine-wicket win, the biggest winning margin by balls remaining in men’s Hundred history at that point.
7. Birmingham Phoenix: 87 all out
This was the total Phoenix would better, unwantedly, a year later. In the reverse fixture of the 2022 Edgbaston capitulation, Phoenix were bowled out for 87 by Manchester Originals at Old Trafford in July 2021 and lost by six wickets.

At the time it stood as the lowest total in the newly launched competition’s short history, a record that lasted barely over a year.
8. Birmingham Phoenix: 89 all out
Reduced to 10 for 4 inside the powerplay, Phoenix never recovered against Oval Invincibles at The Kia Oval in the 2024 season opener, eventually limping to 89 all out.

Adam Zampa claimed 3 for 11 and was named Player of the Match as the two-time defending champions chased the total down by eight wickets, with Sam Billings top-scoring in the reply with 31.
9. Welsh Fire: 91 all out
Chasing Birmingham Phoenix’s 184 at Edgbaston in only the competition’s second season of matches, Welsh Fire were bowled out for 91 inside 15 overs to lose by 93 runs, one of the heaviest defeats by margin in the format’s early years.

It was an early sign of the struggles that would leave Fire near the bottom of the table for much of the competition’s first seasons.
10. London Spirit: 92 for 9
In just the competition’s second season of matches, London Spirit could only reach 92 for 9 in reply to Northern Superchargers’ 155 for 3 at Lord’s, David Willey’s unbeaten 81 having set up the target before he added 2 for 9 with the ball.

Harry Brook also took a smart running catch in the Superchargers’ 63-run win, one of the largest of the 2021 season.
