July 4, 2026

Author: Neil Sharma

The Hundred Women’s Competition has quickly established itself as one of the premier franchise tournaments in women’s cricket since its launch in 2021.

Featuring some of the world’s best batters, the competition has produced several outstanding individual performances, with players consistently delivering match-winning knocks across five completed seasons.

Among those stars, Nat Sciver-Brunt now holds the record for the most runs in the tournament’s history after surpassing Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s previous mark during an unbeaten 60 for Trent Rockets in the 2024 season.

Her remarkable consistency has helped her set a new benchmark in the competition.

Nat Sciver-Brunt sits comfortably at the top of the all-time run-scoring charts with 1,223 runs from just 37 matches, underlining her remarkable consistency with 10 half-centuries and an average of 45.29.

She overtook Danni Wyatt-Hodge, who remains second with 1,146 runs and has featured in all five editions.

1. Nat Sciver-Brunt

Sciver-Brunt tops the list by more than 70 runs, built on the best average, 45.29, of anyone in the top ten.

She overtook Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s previous record during a 60 not out for Trent Rockets against Southern Brave in 2024, a knock that also included a reprieve when a Lauren Bell slower ball failed to dislodge the bails. Her ten fifties remain unmatched in the competition’s history.

2. Danni Wyatt-Hodge

Wyatt-Hodge has played more matches, 43, than anyone else in the top four, underlining her role as a fixture at the top of Southern Brave’s order since 2021.

Her nine fifties helped fire Brave to the 2023 title, including a 59 off 38 balls in that year’s final against Northern Superchargers. Her 69 not out remains her highest score in the competition.

3. Sophia Dunkley

Dunkley has passed 1000 runs across spells with both Southern Brave and Welsh Fire, the side she was retained by through the Right to Match process ahead of the 2025 season.

Her average of 31.32 sits above both players immediately above and below her on this list, and her seven fifties reflect a top-order game built on placement as much as power.

4. Laura Wolvaardt

Wolvaardt’s 90 not out remains the second-highest individual score by anyone in the top ten, part of a résumé that also includes spells at Manchester Originals and Northern Superchargers before her move to Southern Brave.

Her average of 38.37 is the second-best among the leading run-scorers, trailing only Sciver-Brunt, underlining the South African’s ability to anchor an innings.

5. Tammy Beaumont

Beaumont is the only player in the competition’s history to score a century, an unbeaten 118 that remains the format’s benchmark individual score.

Now Welsh Fire’s captain after starting her Hundred career at London Spirit, her 825 runs came at the most modest average of the top five, reflecting a game built around occasional explosive innings rather than pure consistency.

6. Marizanne Kapp

Kapp’s 797 runs came at an average of 39.85, the best of anyone outside the top two on this list, aided by a high number of not-outs that reflects her role finishing innings for Oval Invincibles.

The South African all-rounder was retained through the 2025 draft alongside Alice Capsey, giving the franchise one of the deepest middle orders in the competition.

7. Hayley Matthews

The West Indies captain has built her 795 runs in just 33 matches for Welsh Fire, a return that includes four fifties and a highest score of 78 not out.

Retained ahead of the 2025 season alongside fellow senior campaigner Tammy Beaumont, Matthews’ all-round game has made her one of the format’s most complete overseas signings.

8. Alice Capsey

One of the format’s youngest ever players, Capsey has accumulated 793 runs and six fifties in 40 matches for Oval Invincibles, a franchise she has represented since the competition’s earliest seasons.

Her strike rate and fielding have made her a regular fixture in England’s white-ball setups, built in part on the platform her Hundred performances provided.

9. Bryony Smith

Smith’s 754 runs for Trent Rockets have come without a single not-out beyond her ordinary dismissals, playing every one of her 38 innings through to a result.

Her highest score of 70 and three fifties reflect a top-order role built on rotating strike, giving her one of the most durable returns among players yet to convert a fifty into a century.

10. Maia Bouchier

Bouchier rounds out the top ten with 750 runs from 43 matches for Southern Brave, the most appearances of anyone on this list alongside Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

Her solitary fifty and highest score of 63 not out point to a role built on consistency at the top of the order rather than explosive scoring, valuable across a five-season sample this large.
