Amanda-Jade Wellington and Kate Cross are the only other bowlers to cross 50 wickets, while Marizanne Kapp boasts the best bowling average (13.47) among the top 10, highlighting her exceptional efficiency.
1. Lauren Bell
Bell has played all of her Hundred cricket for Southern Brave, and her 60 wickets make her the format’s only bowler past the half-century mark by some distance.

She reached 50 wickets during the 2025 season against Trent Rockets at Trent Bridge, dismissing Ashleigh Gardner for the landmark. Her strike rate of 13.13 is the best of any bowler in the top ten with more than 45 wickets.
2. Amanda-Jade Wellington
The Australian leg-spinner has taken her 52 wickets across three franchises, starting at Southern Brave before spells with Manchester Originals and Oval Invincibles.

She was the tournament’s leading wicket-taker through its first two seasons and remains one of its most well-travelled bowlers, having also taken 161 wickets in the WBBL for Adelaide Strikers. Her best figures of 4/12 highlight her ability to run through a lineup.
3. Kate Cross
Cross became the third bowler to reach 50 wickets in the competition, achieving the milestone during the 2025 final against Southern Brave at Lord’s.

She started at Manchester Originals before moving to Northern Superchargers in 2023, where a standout 4/20 against her old side in 2024 underlined her improved form. Her side has since been rebranded as Sunrisers Leeds for 2026.
4. Marizanne Kapp
Kapp’s 46 wickets have come at an economy of 6.16, the tightest of anyone in the top ten, reflecting a South African pace attack built on control as much as raw wicket-taking.

Playing throughout for Oval Invincibles, her average of 13.47 sits second only to Bell among the leading wicket-takers, making her one of the format’s most consistently difficult bowlers to face.
5. Emily Arlott
Arlott’s 45 wickets for Birmingham Phoenix have arrived at a strike rate of 12.80, the best of any bowler in the top ten regardless of total wickets.

Despite that record, she rarely gets mentioned alongside the competition’s headline names, but her ability to strike inside the powerplay has made her a consistently penetrative presence in a Phoenix attack built around pace.
6. Linsey Smith
The left-arm spinner’s 42 wickets for Northern Superchargers included a standout 2024 season, when she took 15 wickets in just seven innings, highlighted by figures of 3/12 against Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston.

Her ability to strangle scoring through the middle overs has made her a persistent problem for opposition batters across a Hundred career now entering its sixth season.
7. Kirstie Gordon
Gordon has taken 41 wickets across spells with Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets, best figures of 4/15 reflecting a left-arm spinner capable of running through an innings when conditions suit.

Her average of 20.70 is the highest among bowlers in the top seven, though her wicket-taking has remained a consistent thread through her moves between franchises.
8. Katie Levick
The leg-spinner’s 39 wickets for Welsh Fire came at an economy of 6.94, among the tightest of anyone in the bottom half of this list.

Levick has played across multiple franchises during her Hundred career, and her consistent output regardless of team changes places her alongside Wellington and Gordon as one of the format’s most well-travelled wicket-takers.
9. Sarah Glenn
Glenn’s 39 wickets have come in 40 matches for London Spirit, with best figures of 4/22 showing she is capable of a genuine breakthrough spell.

Her average of 21.94 is the highest of anyone in the top ten, but 40 appearances across five seasons underline how consistently she has been picked, even when her returns have been less economical than some spin-bowling peers.
10. Hayley Matthews
The West Indies captain’s 39 wickets have come in just 33 matches for Welsh Fire, giving her one of the best wickets-per-match ratios in the top ten.

Her off-spin, part of an all-round game that also places her among the competition’s leading run-scorers, produced best figures of 4/14, making her one of the format’s most complete overseas signings.
